How I use your personal data

Jaroslav Kuboš is responsible for processing your personal data. For questions, requests to access, correct or erase your data, or to withdraw consent, contact jaroslav.kubos@naseapka.cz.

The legal basis for registration and organizational emails about the event you registered for is performance of the participation agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Email updates and publication of your pitch recording are based on your consent (point (a)). I use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the forms against spam based on legitimate interests (point (f)).

When you register for Ice Hole Pitching Brno, I use your name, email address, any company or startup name you provide, and your confirmation records to process your registration and organize the event you registered for. I email you a confirmation and essential information about that event. I keep the registration data until the event has been closed and videos have been sent to participants; then I delete the registration row. Before doing so, I separately retain evidence of your consent to video publication, if you gave it.

If you subscribe to email updates — separately or by optionally ticking the box when registering — I use your email address to send news about future Ice Hole Pitching Brno events and event recaps. The subscription continues until you unsubscribe. You can use the link in any message or email me. Unsubscribing does not cancel your event registration.

If you consent to being recorded, footage of your pitch may be published on YouTube and embedded or linked on this website. You can withdraw your consent by email; I will then remove the video. I do not publish identifiable footage of other people without their consent.

I use Google Apps Script, Sheets and Drive for registrations, Ecomail for emails, Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the forms, and YouTube to publish videos. You do not have to provide your data, but I cannot register you for the event without the details needed for registration, or add you to email updates without your email address. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you can contact the Czech Data Protection Authority.
